Our filter – the EcoSmart Filter™ – was born from our experiences in the fire protection industry, where we saw first-hand the types of harmful pollutants that are so carelessly flushed into storm drains and waterways everyday.

Understanding the short- and long-term effects of this problem is what prompted Hydro(gen) Innovation’s founder, Robert Mungarro Sanchez, to invent the world’s first three-filter, portable system for cleaning fire sprinkler water before it gets discarded into the environment. The EcoSmart Filter not only helps discarded water meet EPA standards; it offers fire protection services, cities and municipalities a more cost-effective way of managing this ever-growing ecological problem.
